The Conversation Contraption is a festival of communication, with a series of experiments on speech, transmissions, language and play.  Project accoutrements include tin cups on strings, secrets told through megaphones, rewired telecommunications and typewriter musical instruments.  Communication technologies range from smoke signal translators to Braille music boxes.
